Really Ridiculous

A long time ago, someone I worked for suggested I read the Letters to the Editor every day. He told me that good or bad, rational or crazy, nothing would give me better insight into what people in the community were thinking about on any given day. I took his advice and have tried to read some form of letters every day. Sometimes they're in the New York papers; sometimes they're in my hometown paper online; and every day I read letters sent to our company. Some are reasoned arguments or complaints, some are some birthers and people wearing tin foil hats, and some are just plain bizarre. Add in the sometimes ridiculous public relations pitches, and you have a perfect opportunity for at least one WTF daily. So, in this space, I will drop in some of the crazier ones I see. They might not always be daily. But they will almost always be worth the time to read. And remember... they are all from living, breathing real people who have licenses to drive and are probably reproducing. Be afraid.
